Users Cannot Register!

New users are unable to create an account. When I try to create an account I go through the process(where I give a username and email address) and receive the email from WordPress asking me to click the link to set my password. The problem is when I click the link I’m directed to the login page where it asks for my Username and password and when I give a new password it says Incorrect password?
I don’t know what’s the issue here? please help. thanks.

Is new user registration allowed?
Maybe check your database in the wp_options table, to be sure that the option_value is correct for the option_name fields siteurl and home.
