Users Cannot Register

  • Well, this is probably a stupid question but … what setting do I need to set so that others can register an account at my WP site? I’ve looked all over and either I’m blind as a bat and totally missed it (several times) or I did something wrong.

    Found where that is suppose to be set at. However, the Anyone Can register option does not appear in my settings.

    Have a check from wordpress admin area in the section settings -> general settings…you have check the check box against anyone can register [membership]..

    once is it checked..global registration is enable on your blog..

    That area in the general settings doesn’t even exist in my set up. I think it might be the theme I’m using. Slickpress. When I look in the SQL, it says that anyone can register is set to yes.
