    Hello everyone,

i am using the latest Version of the plugin Email Users. When i send an email to multiple recipients or to a group, the message appears that the email has been sent successfully. But the Users have not received it. Please can you help me and tell me where the Problem is?

    Thanks in advance

  • By the way, thanks a lot for replying, I know you want to help me.
    the website is: https://www.hochschulinitiative-ds.de
I can give you login, but I think its better via email.
    my email is [email protected].

    cheers, lisa

oh, when I change a password, I got the email from wp that the password was changed.

ok, I changed password again, not received an email of it either.
so nothing goes anymore in email. What to do?”

    It gets better and better.
after many more tries, a single mail, not a testmail, a single mail to myself worked with plugin email users, but the mail to the group (10 Users) Bcc set to 30 Users, did not .

You might want to check with your hosting provider to see if there are any rules for outgoing email (number per day, number per hours, number of addresses in the BCC and/or TO field, etc.). It sounds like there is something unusual about how your Server sends mail because if the Test Email doesn’t work reliably, the rest of the plugin has zero chance of working reliably.

I would not bother trying to send email to users or groups until the Test Email can be delivered reliably. Have you tried temporarily disabling all other plugins except Email Users to see if the problem persists?

I did yesterday open a ticked with the hosting provider *alfahosting.de and today suddenly Email Users works. Single email and Group email works, just test mail does not. Could it have to do with hotmail, because the testmail sends to a hotmail address_. Nothing in junkmail as well.
Thank you so much for your attention, happy Sunday, Lisa

It is possible Hotmail doesn’t like the mail routing and it is never getting there. I’ve seen it happen with Outlook.com addresses too. The only solution I know of is to use a SMTP plugin and supply real credentials (e.g. GMail) for outgoing mail.
