I’ve taken over a club website, https://www.gulfharborsyc.com, and am learning as I go. My current problem is that users cannot access their user profiles. When users try to access their profile pages, using: “/wp-admin/profile.ph” they are sent to our home page. But when someone signed in with an admin login does the same entry, they go to their profile page with no problem. Our hosting company has not found the solution and this is keeping us from updating to a newer theme because the developer does not want to transfer from our older site until this is solved. As a “webmaster in training” I’m trying to find a way through this. I know there was a solution to every problem I’ve run into up until now and I refuse to admit defeat on this one.

    Please help!

Search your theme and plugins for redirects, I’ve seen this a few times before, and it’s probably intentional functionality to keep users on the front-end.

    Thank you.

I checked the plug-ins and found “Discussion Board” that was interfering with our members accessing their profile pages. After deactivating it, no problem. I hope that this can help someone else, as well.

    Thanks again.
