    Hello,
I’ve tested the public ticket attachments several times but there doesn’t appear attachments visible and no there are no attachments in the directory /wp-content/uploads/awesome-support/ when uploaded by a user. Any registered user is able to upload one or more files, but although it doesn’t seem to be any problem uploading files (the image is uploaded, the progress bars goes until the end and the thumbnail shows up with a check over it) files are not copied to the corresponding folder and don’t show up in the ticke thread. There’s only a htaccess in the upload folder. But if I upload an image from the admin panel as a response, the image appears correctly there and can be seen clicking on it, and also it appears correctly in the uploads/awesome-support folder.
I also checked “Do Not Mask Attachment Links”. But it was not successful.

    Please help.
    Thx. and regards,
    David

    Hi @bohemme,

Please try to deactivate the other plugins and activate one by one to see if an update from one of them might cause the issue.

If the problem continues, please send us the error messages from the debug.log file.

    Thank you.

    Hello!
Well, I’ve installed a local version of the same site locally and it does work, so I think you’re right and it may have something to do with a plugin, maybe a capabilities (custom users) problem.
    Thanks anyway for your time!
If you wish, I can write what was happening when I fix it, so any other user may find the solution to this problem.

I think I’ve finally figured it out. It seems that, at least this site (server or whatever) doesn’t work with the html5 uploader. I’ve changed it to the “standard” uploader and files appear where they should, so if someone else experiments this kind of problem, he/she can try that.
    Thanks!

Hey David, having the same issue and solved it thanks to you ??
More specific, had to turn off all “drag and drop uploads” in the plugin settings.

    cheers
