    Those links are generated for new Public Subscribers, such users would not have a user name to log in. For testing it’s best to have 2 browsers open (not windows, 2 different apps like Firefox and Chrome) and be logged in on one for looking in the admin area while using the other browser to process the clicked (or perhaps copied and pasted) links.

    That’s what I’ve been doing. Now it finally looks like it really was a caching issue that you suggested. I was using w3 total cache and disabled it + cleared the cache but apparently it didn’t help, so I deactivated it in the plugin settings and it seems to work now. I’ll write back once I’ve tested it more.

    I’ve encountered problems with W3TC in relation to Subscribe2 before. I personally use Hypercache without any conflicts. It offers caching but not any CDN functionality.
