Users are dissapearing

  • Hello,

    Currently I’ve found that some users are dissapearing from my site. That’s all, haha. Their posts are stored in trash with no author, but wp_posts tables still stores author_id which is missing in wp_users.

    So the problem is that users somehow are removed from wp_users. auto_increment is saved anyway, so if 34th user was registered and then removed, next one registered will have id=35.

    Actually I have a bunch of users that are not removed – they all registered in one day (except admin). I have some more views, but not sure they’ll help. Did you met such problem before?

    Possibly revealed the problem.
    Register Plus Redux plugin removed users every day regarding to option to remove unverified users. However I didn’t find out how to perform verification. Every registered user had to open link he received by email, and no options are available in user management to verify them from admin side.
