Some users try and log in before activating their email, causing them to get locked out after only 3 tries. How can I prevent this from happening? There doesn’t seem to be a setting.

    Thanks,
    Dan

What message do you see in the Event column (on the Activity tab) before lockout occurs?

3 instances of “Attempt to log in with non-existent user name”. On the third I see IP Blocked. Also, the 3rd try is a different username than the first two.

I’m also having issues with people trying to register via social login. It seems to block those registrations outright, but I can create a different thread for that.

I believe you use some kind of membership plugin. Do you? Normally a user account is created right after a user has registered on a website. Your issue may be caused by that social login plugin or a membership plugin. They often destroy the normal WP authentication process. There is no need to create a separate thread so far. Could you disable the social plugin and reproduce the issue with activating a user account?

    Hi! How is it going?
