    Hi,

I use AutomatorWP that integrates actions for MailPoet. When I add new subscriber or add new user to the MailPoet list via AutomatorWP their status is always Unsubscribed. Even if I choose the status “Subscribed” in AutomatorWP.

I have contacted AutomatorWP, and they say that this is impossible to add confirmed subscribers to a list if double opt-in is activated in MailPoet.

Is it true? Is there no possibility to add confirmed subscribers to MailPoet list via webhook or other automation plugins?

The users I add to the lists are already confirmed and have given their consent for the newsletter while registering for my website.

Thank you in advance for clarification!

    Hi there @affiliatedachs ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

Is there no possibility to add?confirmed?subscribers to MailPoet list via webhook or other automation plugins?

I do think that if double opt-in is enabled then the confirmation email is mandatory.

Having said that, I have just asked our dev team for advice. Once we have some news about what the next steps are, we will get back to you.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Cheers!

    Hi again!

I have just checked this with our developers and it is not currently possible to add a subscriber as confirmed via the API.

It would be great if you could add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com so that other users can upvote and comment on it.

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??
