How can users register on my blog?

Check the Anyone can register box in the Administration > Settings > General screen.

Then show them where to login to your blog (e.g. mydomain.com/wp-login.php) and they will see the link to register.

Michael–having the same problem–don’t see where they register on my site. Looked at my theme as well as one of the pre-sets and still a but confused as a user trying to log in.

On mine at the end of my post it says “No Comments”. Its a link if you click it there is a place to sign in and leave a comment but no registration link.

I want to let people register on my blog. How do I do that?

Just like Michael H said: “Check the Anyone can register box in the Administration > Settings > General screen.” Check the box next to “Anyone can register” and then click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom.

To TEST this, you have to be logged out. So, if you’re using Firefox for all your admin work, open an Explorer (or Netscape, Opera, Safari, etc., anything BUT Firefox) browser and go to the site. It should show you as not being logged in, and you can test it there because it should have a link to login, and that should have a link to register.

Remember, the setting must be turned on to work, & you have to be logged out to see the link.

Switching between browsers makes it easy to find these things. And, it makes it easy to see the differences in how the browsers (& your customers) will see things.

So clicking on Comments and filling in the form with Name, Email, Website. IS registering? I guess I expected it to be a separate page.
