We are about to create a new site that will eventually use WordPress Multi-Site.

Just installed the Force Login plugin to allow privacy while we develop the site. I am not seeing a way within the WP Dashboard to configure usernames and passwords for the Force Login. I was reluctant to log OUT and try it fearing I’d be locked out of my own website!

The plugin is installed and activated. What is the username and password for people to view the pages? or – where or how does one create the username and password?

You use the builtin WordPress functionality to create and manage users for your website. Force Login only checks if the visitor is a logged-in user or not.

Checkout this WordPress guide on how to manage users in your site:

You could try testing it in another browser or open a new window in incognito/private mode. And if you do get locked out, just rename or delete the wp-force-login folder in your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
