Username & password request after connecting to new wifi modem

    I’ve been using the plugin on my site successfully for about a month. I’ve just purchased a new wifi modem & connected to it & the plugin has now placed a popup on my dashboard asking:

    “A username and password are being requested by https://d.zemanta.com. The site says: “(name of the modem)””

    I’ve tried both the username & password of the modem & also my zemanta account & both have not been successful. I have had to disable the plugin for now as each time the popup appears it locks me out of other screens until I cancel the request.

    Any ideas on how to get past this?

  • Hey Nikki, that’s one very special problem you are experiencing and to be completely honest — we are clueless why this is happening.

    But nevertheless, let’s try something out.

    Open up your command window (or Terminal) and run the following code:

    ping d.zemanta.com

    Allow it to run for a couple of seconds and then you can quit the process with control+C on your keyboard.

    Copy & paste me the text you get back to me, to see what’s going on.
