• Hi guys!
Thanks for the great plugin! I am pleasantly surprised by its capabilities and I gave it a 5-star rating.

    @ultimatemembersupport
Please, could you help me with the following issue:
I want users to fill out two fields in the registration form:
    1) Username (Login)
    2) Nickname (Display name)

The above two fields should be different from each other.
Is it possible to configure such a check?

I guess I should set up some sort of Custom Validation.
But what exactly should I put in the “Custom Action” field?

    Thank you!

    Hi @crazytriangle,

Thanks for your review, our team works hard to provide even more great features in the future updates.

    I suggest using these settings:
Username field – Validate – Unique username.
Nickname filed – Validate – Unique metakey value.
This way you won’t need custom validation function.
Validate dropdown can be found on the edit field dialog.

    Regards.

    Hi @ultimatemembersupport!
I’ve applied the settings you recommend.
    Unfortunately, it didn’t work.

    My actions:
    1) Username field – Validate – Unique username.
Nickname filed – Validate – Unique metakey value.

    2) I cleared WordPress cache.

    3) I purged Cloudflare cache.

    4) I updated the Register page (just by resaving it).

    5) I restarted my browser.

But the plugin still allows user to register an account with the same “Username” and “Nickname” fields. (“Username” = “Nickname”)

So I still need your help ??
    Thank you!
