I use the substitute codes $$USERID$$ and $$USER$$ to select and display personal information for each user. I implemented ver 4.0 and 4.0.1 and the substitute codes stopped working. I reinstalled version 3.6.5 and the option works again without any changes on my part. To recreate the problem, use $$USERID$$ and/or $$USER$$ in the default values in Data Projects -> Manage Table Options -> Default values.

    Hi @dougearl,

I tested this with a Data Project in the backend, but I cannot reproduce this error. It works on for me. Can you give me some more details about your use case? I might have missed some specific cases.

Please keep in mind that this is not yet implemented in Data Forms (in case you are already using it).

The users also needs to be logged in. These values are empty for anonymous users.

    Thanks,
    Peter

If you need any additional information from me, let me know. The work around is to keep the plugin at ver 3.6.5 so everything is still working for me. I report the issue because others may have run into the same. You have a terrific plugin, very helpful.

    Hi @dougearl,

Thank you for the detailed information! That was very helpful. ?? The behaviour of hidden items was changed in version 4 and I missed the default value. Sorry for that!

The problem is fixed. I patched the free version. If you are using the free version you can update to version 4 now.

I cannot update the premium version right away as there are too many outstanding changes. The fix for the premium version will become available at the end of this week or the week after.

Thank you for reporting this bug!

    Best regards,
    Peter
