User Telephone instead of User URL

Hi fcpro, the free version form is pretty much set with the fields provided via the plugin settings, so it’s not really possible to add new fields. With the Pro version, you can add unlimited custom fields, just fyi.

Thanks for your reply. I understand what you are saying. I have looked at your Pro Version and I’m thinking that the Pro Version is way too powerful for my needs.

I’d be willing to buy a small add-on (option) where User URL is replaced for just text instead of %%URL%% witch gives this “https://” in result on frontend post => https://555-898-3029

I like the page where we can easily and simply configure the settings of User Submitted Posts : wp-admin/options-general.php?page=user-submitted-posts ….

For a small tweak like that, you may want to try setting up a custom form. That would enable you to customize the URL field, and/or any other fields. Then on the front-end, you could modify the plugin auto-display settings to include the “https://” or whatever.

I don’t want the “https://” in auto-display settings. I’ve been trying to remove it, but how and where in the files ?

Can show me or tell me (us) where to remove the “https://” ? What file please ?

Ah you are correct, sorry it was early when I replied. The HTTP protocol is added via esc_url() in the main plugin file on line 133. So it’s not something that can be removed via custom form. Sorry for any confusion.

Right, sorry but it’s not possible because the “https://” is added to the custom field.

I should mention that if you are familiar with JavaScript, it would be possible to remove the “https://” when the page loads.
