    Hi there,
I am looking for some advice on how to structure some data.

At the moment I have a taxonomy called “location”, which consists of countries (as parents) and cities (as children of respective countries). There are around 1000 terms in this taxonomy and growing. All my posts are categorised according to this taxonomy.

Now I also want to categorise the users accordingly. But obviously WP cannot differentiate between a $post->ID or a $user->ID in the term_relationships table. It only has one column for object_id.

    I guess I have a few options:

    1. Create a user taxonomy and mostly duplicate 1000 or so terms.

    2. Wait until term_meta is implemented and then save a meta field that distinguishes between user and post ID

What do you think is the best approach. Or is there another solution?
    Thanks,
    Sascha
