User Switching does not work at all

  • I installed User Switching but I can’t switch my (Administrator) user name. The “Switch to” menu shows up for the other users, but not for me. It’s just not there. I even get the menu “Switch to” on the WpEngine user, who is an Administrator, but not on mine, the only user I want to switch. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m the only one who wants to switch users, so I can see what other users see. Thanks.

    I can’t edit the post now, so I wanted to add that it’s NOT “at all”. The plugin works for everyone’s user name but mine.

    Does your user account have permission to edit the user(s) that you’re trying to switch to?

    Are you using Multisite?

    Do you have a custom user capability management plugin in place?

    Take a look through the FAQs for the plugin, there’s several bits of information in there that should be useful.
