“User Status is Required” at Checkout

    Hi,
    we are testing mangopay in sandbox with a default wp install, storefront theme and wcwendors.

    We are getting 2 errors:
    1. “User status is required” at checkout, although users have been registered and wallets created in the mangopay dashboard. I’ve tried to create new individual(natural) users but always getting the same error

    2. We are not able to set the Payment Template page from wp-admin. When we select the page with the [mangopay_payform] shortcode, we get this error:
    “The payment template page cannot be reached with https.”

    We have tried 2 different SSL certificates (not auto-signed). Can you recommend a specific one that works? We’d like to avoid expensive EV certificates, I hope we can test with standard ones.

    Current environment: Sandbox
    Client ID: Present!
    Passphrase: Present!
    MANGOPAY API Connection: Success!
    MANGOPAY-WooCommerce plugin version: 2.2.1
    Required WooCommerce plugin present & activated: Success!
    WooCommerce plugin version: 3.1.0
    MANGOPAY enabled as a WooCommerce payment gateway: Abilitato
    At least one card type or payment method is enabled: Success!
    Bankwire Direct payment is enabled: Abilitato
    The webhook for Bankwire Direct is registered: Success!
    WooCommerce guest checkout should be disabled Disabilitato
    Current WooCommerce currency is supported by MANGOPAY: EUR Supported
    Required WC-Vendors plugin present & activated: Success!
    WC-Vendors plugin version: 1.9.12
    PHP mcrypt library available: Success!
    Keyfile directory is writable: Success!
    Temporary directory is writable: Success!
    All active vendors have a MANGOPAY account:

    Hi there, for the SSL problems, have you checked all the tips on this page https://docs.mangopay.com/guide/customising-the-design ? If so, I suggest you contact our support team who will be able to help you further (www.mangopay.com/contact/).

    For the first problem, what settings do you have above the info you posted above (particularly the “All buyers are…”. Could you try resaving this form to see if that makes any difference? Also, are you indeed using the original and unmodified WordPress user creation forms, not your own/via another plugin?

    regarding first problem, we have solved applying the solution suggested here:

    Our settings are:
    All buyers are EITHER
    All vendors are BUSINESS
    All business are EITHER

    We are testing on a standard checkout page (storefront theme template)

    SSL issues still unsolved, we have contacted support but so far we have not been able to identify the problem. The staging server is hosted on a shared AWS account.

    Ok thanks for the feedback about the user status problem – we’ll look into this and see what we can do to improve the issue.

    For the SSL issue, I’ve found your support case and URL and noticed that the site is very slow to load (>8s) and I wonder if our PSP is timing out when trying to access the URL perhaps – is there anyway you could speed things up and/or try in a different setup but with the same SSL certificate (which by the way looks as though it’s fine).

    Hi,
    for the moment we have solved the issue with payment page through the correct installation of the intermediate certificate for SSL.

    We are still not able to get “LEVEL A” in the ssl test though (https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/), as required by Mangopay…
    I hope this won’t be a problem when moving to Production environment.
