User Setup

I am trying to figure out why this plugin does not have a default usergroup setting, for when users sign up to the site. Everything has to be manually done making administration a nightmare.
Is there anything that can be done to make all new users that sign up on the site automatically added to a specific Group in the “*_forum_usergroup2user” table?
