User sets password from signup only.

  • Is there a way for the user to set their own password without having it go through wordpress.com? I saw another post but no solution. Thanks!

    Whilst I’m pretty sure another plugin that allows extra fields during registration can be used here to add the password field, we ourselves don’t do this.

    I would, however, recommend you do use some sort of email opt-in flow for registering since otherwise, anyone can sign up for your site with a fake email.
