User search not working.

    The author search feature quite simply doesn’t work on my install, it isn’t returning any authors. In some cases it will display an article written by the author searched for, but not always, and the author himself is never listed.

    From the SQL request I can see that posts are queried and a join is performed on the posts table… But what about if the author doesn’t have any articles? Or if it’s not an author but an editor or contributor or subscriber?

    thanks for reaching out – I’ll gladly help!
    The thing is that our plugin can’t search for authors that never published any posts/articles. On our side we do see the author (editor, contributor, admin,…) with the article, so that issue could be theme related. Therefore my question is – which theme do you use? Also, a link to your blog would be helpful, so that I can take a closer look to those results.
