User Search and Add Attendee Function

Hi,

I have a private, member oriented site using buddypress. They host many member exclusive events. Is there a hook or some way that I can have an intuitive search and list function when adding attendee names to bookings, so that it pulls up corresponding member names and then allows me select that member as an attendee?

For example, I book a reservation for myself and 3 other members. As I start to add the other members names, I would like the form to pull all names that have those letters associated with my query. eg: I type “Jo” and it comes up with a list of all member names that have “Jo” in it and I can then select the appropriate member from that list without spelling their entire name.

Is there anyway to accomplish this?
