User saved card details used to show in WordPress user profiles. Not anymore.

This plugin used to show the last 4 digits of a users saved card, as well as a button to “delete” the saved card in the Woocommerce admin when the admin goes to the “users” section. Now, wh en using the latest version 3.0.2, the saved card details no longer appear in the WordPress users section.

This feature is called “Customer Profiles” and the saved card details would show only when “Customer Profiles” option is enabled and the customer has saved their card.

Please check that “Customer Profiles” is enabled in Square settings, more details at https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-square/#section-22

Also, please ensure that the customer profile you’re checking has actually saved their card.

I guess this is a bug in 3.0.2.

The setting is checked:
“Check to enable tokenization and allow customers to securely save their payment details for future checkout.”

But saved payment details for all customers do not appear in the WordPress user profile any more, including all those customers who have saved cards. It used to work in the previous version 2.X.

How do we report this to the developers?

I was able to locate a bug that is related to this problem of customers’ saved payment methods not showing in the user profile of the wp-admin area.

Our developers are currently testing the fix. However, there is no ETA of when the fix will be released. The previous versions i.e. 2.9.1 do not have this problem. If you want, you can get that version instead.

I’m going to mark this as a thread as resolved. Please keep an eye on our changelog to see if the recent version includes a fix for this.
