    Hi there,

I am working on a website for a client who I am giving a User Role of ‘Editor’. Doing this however limits how much they can see of BirchSchedule – only the Admin is able to add services/staff etc.

Is there anyway a user with the role of ‘Editor’ is able to do that? Or does he have to be an admin?

    Thanks,
    Moh

    Hi Moh,

Only the Admin is able to add services/staff,and users with the role of ‘Editor’or’Author’ can only see the calendar page. It is by design.
We think the services/staff info should be edited by the site owner. Why do not you assign him the role of ‘Admin’?

    Hi,

Thank you for your quick reply.

It does make sense the way you have designed it, however it would be neat to be able to set those permissions on our own – may be something to have in future releases.

I don’t want my client messing around with appearance/plug-in options. Just prefer they have a simple interface, and with ‘Editor’ or ‘Author’ I can have that.

    Thanks again,
    Moh
