• Hello,

    We’re trying your plugin, because we need a registration form that allows the user to select their user role (professional or enterprise). The problem is that when we add the roll over with both options, the registration page reloads, and the user created doesn’t have any role (we have the latest version, and tried with a default role)

    When we remove that rollover selection, after the user create the account, it redirects and the user has the default role. So the problem is with the rollover (I’ve seen some other topics with the same issue, but didn’t find any answer)

    I’m having this similar issue as well. They have not responded properly since about two weeks now.

    This issue is for the free version of the ultimate member, we’re going to buy the extensions but before we do that, we need to make this function work, because its fundamental for our business.

    Can you find a solution for this?

    are you ussing the regular dropdown field or the role(dropdown) field?

    @darkfreaks I have a support ticket for the bundle but its been almost a week now that I receive no reply. Should I get a refund? This is terrible.

    I’m using the ‘role(dropdown)’, and the redirection is already setted (the redirection works fine if we remove the role(dropdown) field)

    right is there anyway you can screenshot or put on video the redirect or lack of redirect? so we can get an idea where to look for said problem.

    Hi @ncovello,

    What version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your site?
    Do you have any other membership or role editing plugins active?
    You can assign non-default user role to the registration form by “Apply custom settings to this form – Yes” and “Assign role to form”.

    This issue can be also caused by some conflicts with your theme or other plugins.
    Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    I just submitted back the ticket again and here’s the confirmation after submission of the ticket (https://prntscr.com/nj3bdw and https://prntscr.com/nj3lpc). I received the same confirmation a week ago but I didn’t get a response from anyone.

    There’s also no way to revisit the ticket anywhere on the account dashboard.

    The ticket title is “User Role registration field does not work”.

    I found out that if you create a new role in the Ultimate Member menu ‘user roles’ , it recognizes the user role selection.

    We also have the “user role editor”, se we’ve to see if there’s any problem on generating a role from UM.

    Also I need to know if this role selection field, can be integrated on mailchimp, by merge tag or something like that.

    I need to know if there’s a way to make any role, as ‘custom UM role’ (I have it in french, don’t know the translation ‘R?le personnalisé UM’ is the column)

    Because if not, the user selection field doesn’t work. The roles have to be made in ultimate member.
