User Role Permission for Receiving Comment Notifications for Authored Posts

  • WordPress default behavior when enabling new comment notifications is to send a notification to the admin and to the author of the post, but only if the author is an ‘Author’ role, not Contributor.

    I am wondering if there is a permission I can modify for Contributor to enable them to receive new comment notification emails on posts they’ve authored?
