User Role Issue with Learndash

    Hello,

    I’m using VCZ with Learndash. I have multiple different instructors who have been assigned the “Instructor” WP user role. When someone logged in under that “Instructor” role attempts to access the Zoom Events list (https://thekingdomuniversity.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=zoom-meetings) it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page…” I’d like Instructors to ability to see a list of the Zoom Events. Is there a way I can grant that capability to the Instructor role?

    Try adding “edit_published_posts” capability to your “instructor” role – This should allow instructor role to create and edit Zoom meeting events.

    Hello. Thanks for your reply. I tried adding that capability with no effect. I’m using the Members plugin to change the Role capabilities. Here are the post permissions for the LearnDash Instructor role. Any other ideas?

    Adding those capabilities should do the trick for you.

    After you add these capabilities – Zoom Events should show up for the role in wp-admin section. Just tried it and seems to be showing on my end with the same capabilities from the provided screenshot.

    Apologies, I neglected to mention that I’m using the Instructor Role plugin for LearnDash. With that, Instructors do not see the typical wp-admin, they see a customized Instructor Dashboard. I did try it with the Instructor Role plugin disabled and Zoom Events shows up.

    I’ll reach out to the developer of Instructor Role, but do you know of any conflict that would prevent Zoom Events from loading in the Instructor Role dashboard?
