    When a user attempts to save their account information, that somehow triggers the loss of their user role and the ability to update their profile.

    Hi @jcavery,

    “When a user attempts to save their account information”, did you mean saving information in UM account page? If not saving from where?

    This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

    I just deactivated every plugin except the UM plugin, and the issue persists. Specifically, updating a user’s profile on the account page removes the user role and logs out the user after successful submission. If inputting invalid characters, it gives an error as expected and only occurs after successful submission.

    Could you please go to Ultimate Member->Settings->Install info, inside your dashboard and share us this file here. Also send us few screenshots of your issue and steps on how to recreate this.

    The issue can’t be captured in a screenshot as it logs out the user without giving any error.

    Steps to check the issue:

    #1 Register and log in at https://808nanny.com/login
    #2 Go to https://808nanny.com/account
    #3 Enter first name & last name
    #4 Click update account, and it will logout.
