    Hi,

Go to the “Settings”=>”User Role Editor” and turn on the “Show Administrator role at User Role Editor” checkbox. Click Update. Then return to the User Role Editor and look on the “Administrator” role.
‘read’ capability is the only capability included into all roles by default. Why do you think you may lose it from the “Administrator” role?

    Regards,
    Vladimir.
