user role editor and custom fields

    Custom fields are available for the ‘Editor’ role by default. There is not special user capability for them in WordPress.
    If your editor user does not see ‘Custom Fields’ meta box, look if its checkbox turned on at the ‘Screen Options’ – link is located at the top right corner of the post editor page.
