• Hello,

When using the registration form feature on Ultimate Member it breaks the page (clears off all the content on the page where the shortcode is inserted).
This is only when I try to insert either a radio button for role or a dropdown for role.
When I remove the role radio button or dropdown it works perfectly again.

I am using a Centos server (which is fully up to date) and is live.

To resolve this issue I have disabled all plugins on my live site, excluding Ultimate Member, this still doesn’t solve the problem.

I have also migrated the live site to my MAMP server on my local machine (Apple MacBook) as it is on the live server. This works and now displays the radio button or dropdown for the user role.

I have even tried installing it on my localhost on my local machine on a fresh install without the migrated backup from my live server, this still works.

I don’t understand why it is working on my local machine and not on my live Centos server as it is copied over exactly.

Please help me to resolve this as I have tried everything I know of.

    Thanks in advance,

    Harry.

    Hi @harryhawkes97,

Can you also please do a conflict test on the theme and see if it is caused by a conflict. You can click the link for directions on the plugin/theme conflict test:

    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/96-how-to-do-a-plugin-theme-conflict-test

    Thanks.

The problem is the WordPress version 4.7.4 and Ultimate member 1.3.84, when I try to insert either a radio button a dropdown controls . En WordPress version is 4.6.5 and Ultimate member 1.3.84, radio button or dropdown it WORKS PERFECTLY.

Whoever decides when or why WordPress needs to be updated should be removed from the project. If a free script has to undergo constantly so many changes (due to security fixes or otherwise) then it must be mediocre code.

Has this issue been resolved ? I am also facing the same issue – when adding a form with a radio button or dropdown question, the form can’t be displayed (clears off the content of the page).

    UM Version : 1.3.86
    WP version : 4.8

Hi, having the same issue – no matter what theme is installed

Have deadline on project, and can’t move forward until this is resolved – happy to buy license, but need to be 100% sure that this works…

This is a serious and persistent problem. I’ve reported it as well, I can tell you all that reverting back to v1.3.82 allows the forms to show properly in WP v4.8.1 but that is not ideal.

UPDATE: Reverting back to 1.3.82 allows you to see the forms, but when a user attempts to edit, the same issue occurs. At this point, I’m stuck and I’m hoping someone has an idea on how to fix it.

I have the exact same problem. I know it’s not a plugin conflict because I made an exact duplicate of the site and it’s database using AIO on a different web server (AWS) and it works fine. The only difference I see is that it’s not working on a CentOS based web server but it is on an Ubuntu based one.

    Thank you!
