    Hello,

    I’m looking to achieve:

User roles, for example 10% discount if a certain user role.

    Combined with:

A maximum product discount set per product.
Ie the user normally qualifies for 10% discount, but this product at £100 for example will only allow a maximum discount down to £95.

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I guess you are trying to apply 10% off, but give maximum discount of $5.

    Am I correct ?

In that case, you need to create two separate rules with subtotal condition.

Here is a guide detailing the same with similar example:
    https://docs.flycart.org/en/articles/2892224-subtotal-based-limit-discounts

Here is a screenshot which might be of helpful:

    Rule 1: https://nimb.ws/K5E0ht

    Rule 2: https://nimb.ws/lBfMW7

To check how the discount works, you can also give a try in the demo site.

The demo site contains PRO version features. Here is the link to the demo site: https://demo.flycart.net/woo-discount-rules/

Kindly have a check and let us know in case of any further queries.

    To confirm,

There will actually be different user roles, ie some get 10%, some 20% and some 30%.

However, some of the products, their margin is not big enough to offer, the 20 or 30%. Therefore we need the products to only allow a maximum % discount, ie maybe 14$ discount instead of 20/30%

    Can this be achieved?

Thank you for the swift reply (and glad to see you also use Nimbus Note, great software!)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Currently, it is possible to cap discount value based on cart subtotal. For providing different discount for different userroles, we can create separate rules.

To know more about userrole based discount:
    https://docs.flycart.org/en/articles/4203313-user-role-based-discount-rules-discount-rules-2-0

But, I guess you are trying to check maximum discount value per product. In that case, we are so sorry that it is not possible to give maximum discount value by checking product price of each products, unfortunately.

    Thanks for understanding.

    Thanks
    Team Flycart
