  • Hi @rizalmasan

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are using Edwiser Bridge to sync the created users from Moodle to WordPress, however, all user roles tagged as Customers are changed to Subscriber, is that correct?

Since this is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy here), it would be best reaching out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.

not all but for some user, this does use a third party to sync or create a user on wocomerce from moodle but is there a setting on woocommerce so that the user role doesn’t change like the example we have set as a “customer” and so it can’t change to a “subscriber” ?
At parallel, we also asked the third-party plugin support that we use

    hello @xue28

we had ask the third party user sync but as per they the user role is not manage by them and it is depend on the wordpress and moodle sites configuration.

Do you have any guesses what caused the user role to change by itself? is it possible because the data is incomplete such as no email or first name last name?

    Hello @rizalmasan,

The customer role is given to users who create an account from the my-account page or during checkout.

I will recommend getting in touch with the Edwiser Bridge plugin’s author as from my understanding these users are not created by sign-ups but rather imported using the plugin.

One option you can try is disabling any caching solutions and then start importing users.

Alternatively, you can hire a WooExpert to help you with this.

    Cheers!
