User Role Capability – delete other user messages

    Hello. I thought this was possible before, but now I can’t seem to do it anymore.
    Is it possible to grant a user role, other than admin, to delete other users messages in the chat rooms? I know you can enable users to delete their own messages, but I can’t enable a user role to delete other people’s messages.

    If there’s some PHP code to enable it, I’d be keen to use it.

    Hi there!

    Only admin can delete other user messages at the moment.
    In Group messages group admins and moderators can do that as well.
    In chat rooms only admin can do that.

    It is not possible to overwrite that yet.

    What user role is a moderator? I have author, contributor, editor, subscriber and admin, but no moderator role. I tried all those roles and the only role that allows for deleting other messages in chat rooms is admin.

    That is correct, the more moderator to chat rooms will be possible to add in future updates.
