    Hi there,
I installed the plugin and it works great. Just need to know can we create documentation based on user role to show only articles related to his/her user role. It would be great to manage docs to display only articles related to the department and hide rest articles.

  • Yes I am also looking for an answer for this as I realise I can restrict access to the Documentation Home page, but each of the sections can still be access directly with the link without having to log in. Is there a way to restrict access to user role at section level too?

I used WP-Client to do this. Create “customers” and assign to “circles” (ie. groups). Then in each wedoc page, enable wp-client security and choose circles that have access to the page. A bit clunky in practice but works well.

Also in wp-client, you can assign a custom start page to each circle. That’s how I show what wedocs each circle has access to. This is very manual/hardcoded, putting in the shortcode for a particular wedoc(s) in the start page. But serves my needs.
