User role access to single plugin only

  • Hi,

    I’m currently trying to add a new user role (or edit a current one i.e. contributor) to allow them access to one single plugin only, in this case Ditty News Ticker.

    I know that you can amend capabilities for users for editing pages etc, however I can’t find anything online that specifically mentions limiting access to one plugin.

    Please don’t recommend another plugin, I want to code it into the functions.php file ideally.

    Any help appreciated.
