User restriction

  • I aplogise If I may of missed this, but I have been looking for weeks!!!

    I have a wordpress site setup and I am using it much like a CMS.

    What I require is for users to be able to edit content on a page I designate them. for instance:

    2 users add/update the blog posts.
    1 user can add or edit content on static page 1
    2 users can add or edit content on static page 2
    2 users can add or edit content on static page 3

    once logged in they must not be able to add, edit or update the content on any other page but the one they have been assigned.

    I must stress, this is purely for the “background” workings and editing of the site, nothing to do with users adding comments or subscribing….
    This website is a static one for all to view only, merely just static pages that need to be updated regularly.
