    Hi there,

    We have had numerous reports from users saying that after filling in their card details and clicking buy now the page just reloads and no payment is taken nor error shown.

    I can see the pending orders in the backend of WooCommerce, however, they never actually get to the payment taken stage and move to processing.

    The PayPal button and Sofort etc all seem to be working as expected, this is just the credit/debit option and only on some orders as many are still coming through. There have been at least 3 instances reported in the past 2 days.

    There has also been a separate report which I’m unsure if is related but the error said: “could not validate nonce”. Just noting this too in case it is useful.

    Would greatly appreciate any assistance.

    Hi @torlock,

    The “could not validate nonce” message might be a result of users creating an account while checking out. You can find out if your site is affected by this issue by checking out as a guest with the checkbox “Create an account?” set.
    Our developers are aware of a similar issue and are working on a solution.
    A potential workaround would be to temporarily remove the account creation option from the checkout itself and instead have the user create their account before checking out.

    Our next update 1.3.0 resolves many of potential issues in the checkout and will be released shortly. We had some delays on this update because we are including brand-new PayPal features, but it should improve the checkout experience quite a bit.
    Another update with more improvements will follow shortly after.
    I will try to get a status update from our developers regarding the nonce issue.

    Closed because of inactivity

    This needs to be opened back up. I’ve had 50+ pending transactions over the past week since integrating this.
