    Was all working until…
Updated WordPress 5.3.2, using Adava theme 3.7.3.
    Updated User Registrations to 1.7.6

    Submit button has stopped working.

I’ve restored User Registration to 1.7.4 but has stopped working here as well.

    Anyone help?

  • Hi @playnetball,

    Sorry for the delayed response.
Thank you for providing the link. I just visited the link and tried to do a test registration but the submit button does nothing. On further inspection, I could see that there is a javascript error which can be seen in the developer console of the browser. It seems like there is a conflict with some plugin.
Could you please do a test by deactivating other plugins and see if the registration works or not?

Do let me know and I will get back to you.

    Regards!

Thanks for your response – Not wanting to attempt your suggestion on my live site and being a newbie to this I’ve spent the last 2 days trying to get a local environment setup to allow me to deactivate the other plugins. I’m currently trying to downgrade my local PHP(v7.3.13) as my live site has a different version(v7.0.27). I’ll attempt your suggestion once I can get my local Bitnami WordPress setup.

    Hiya,
Progress:I have updated my live site to PHP v7.3.13, cloned my live website and now have a local wordpress into which I have imported the clone. I have deactivated all the plugins and changed to TwentyTwenty theme and the User Registration works.

I’ve reactivated the Avada theme and it does not work and I get the following error if you can assist with please?

    Hi @playnetball,

On seeing the error in the console, it seems to be an issue with the jquery version of your website. There is a syntax error in the jquery which is causing the js error and is being shown in the console. Since there is a js error, the submit won’t work because of the form submission of the plugin also uses jquery.
I would like to request you to contact our developer team here at https://wpeverest.com/contact/ regarding your issue and someone from the team will get back to you. Please contact us soon so that we can solve your issue asap.

    Regards!

    Hi!

I got the same problem, there was never a submit button on my login page.
Everything is updated on my wordpress. My members can register, and are redirected to personal pages, but they can’t login back if they logout.

Is there something I can do?

    Regards
