User Registration Plugin

When I attempt to login using a page that only contains [user_registration_my_account], I have to hit login twice some of the time. What could be causing this problem?
The first time I hit login, the page refreshes. The second time I hit login, the page logs in. I’m using v3 of the Google reCaptcha.
It doesn’t happen if I navigate into the blog first, then go to the account page.
