User registration page fail to load

    Hello!

    After setting up the major configurations and even a customer-level username for myself to test, I asked a friend to register and try to see how my shop works on their end.

    He can’t register. Well, I activated the WordPress user registration, but doesn’t change anything.

    I wonder why the Sunshine user registration form fails to open? Gives a 404 error. The WordPress-specific registration form opens normally, but not the Sunshine user registration. Are they the same?

    Meanwhile, as my test-gallery has a password to open, whenever I try to open it, it returns an error and shows the login screen (username and password). Then it goes back again to the gallery, and keeps failing to open the password-protected gallery.

    It looks like you are using a 3rd party plugin to customize the registration page. That appears to be breaking things here. I recommend disabling that plugin and testing again to confirm.

    Indeed, it was Theme My Login, wich is a plugin that makes the login and registration pages inline with the theme, instead of the standard, themeless page for login and register.

    I will search for help under their forums to see if I can fix the link.

    Ok I solved the register link by using another login page customizer, but the other issue still happens: when trying to open a password-protected gallery, it keeps booting me to the login page; from where it sends me to WP dashboard, I can get back to Sunshine Galleries, only to start over (insert gallery password > error > login again > dashboard > open gallery > insert gallery password > … )

    Note: this happens without any login customizer.

    I recommend temporarily disabling all non-Sunshine plugins and using a default WordPress theme and trying again. If it works when just Sunshine is active then we can conclude it is a conflict with something else. You can then enable things back one by one and testing after each. When it breaks, then you know which one is the cause of the conflict. This helps determine where the conflict is and we can then go from there.     Hello!

    I think the issue is gone, I don’t know if it was a cache issue because it only happened with 1 user (my “customer” one, not the admin). I asked a friend to test this out and he had no issue accessing the password-protected gallery.
