• Hi!

I am running a two site network:

    Primary site: https://www.example.com
    sub site: https://www.subsite.example.com

I have activated the plugin Multisite User Management.

However, when a user (frontend) registers on the network, they are unable to login on subsite. I noticed (at backend dashboard) that the user is getting registered in network and primary site, but not in the subsite.

I have checked and done many options, but to no avail.
    What could be the problem?

    Thanks in anticipation.

In multisite, users are always users of the network, and then may be given privileges on specific subsites, but this does not happen automatically by default. If I’m using multisite to run a network of blogs, I don’t necessarily want each new user to have access to the dashboards of ALL the blogs, just theirs.

You CAN change this default though with a plugin, and I think that Multisite User Management is the one. Look through its documentation or settings, and I think you can choose which site or sites that new users are added to.
