User registration error

  • I need help as soon as possible! I just set up a website for the first time and allowed users to register on word press to view the content however i noticed that my users are having trouble logging in and have to reset their password (i know this because i am getting emails about them having to change their password) I have also got a number of complaints about them not being able to login. PLEASE HELP! I don’t want to loose these users over this issue.

    which plugins are you using to control user subscription process?

    Hi,

    I registered myself and was able to logged in successfully.

    When you click the link from your mail id, you will be asked to reset the pwd. At this point you need to type in new pwd at least 12 characters long and then click “Reset”.. And you are done!

    Now you can login with your new pwd.

    In a nutshell, I found no problems logging in after registering as a new user.

    I was wondering because i get email notification that i have new user registered and then a number of email notifications for “password lost/changed” as well as many people saying they cant login. Do you know why this would happen? If the registration works they would not need to change their password

    there are only 2 plugins i currently use: BAW login/logout menu by Juliobox and A5 Custom Login Page by Stefan Cramer
