user registration emails

  • i searched for the subject and several people seem to have experienced a similar problem but i haven’t found a real answer, so here is my questions.

    i’m running WP 2.0.2 – everything works fine, except for the registrations. a user can register and wordpress will send out the email but, during registration it says “password will be emailed” – but the email that a person who registers gets only contains the user name and the email address but NOT the password. very odd…
    any suggestions?
