User registration date 7 hours ahead of WP settings time

    Hello,

    When we create new users on any of our networked sites, the date entered into the database is 7 hours ahead of the time set in the Settings panel. The timezone in WordPress is set to Mountain Standard Time (Denver, USA), which is our time zone. The server’s timezone is set to Central Standard Time (Toronto, Canada),which is only two hours ahead of our zone. When we create posts, the correct time is entered into the database, so this seems to be an issue that only affects the User Manager. Any ideas on why this is happening.
