User registration confirmation mail settings

  • Hi there,

    I just installed WordPress 2.0 — great blog.. ??

    Everything works accept for one thing, when i register a new user there’s no mail sent.. do i need to specifie a smtp server anywhere? or am i missing something else..

    I’m having this problem as well.

    I have narrowed it down to the wp_mail function (in pluggable_functions.php) trying to set a From: value in the headers.

    If I take that out then it works fine, although the From header looks a little odd.

    So you might want to check it out. It’s not great but it might enable you to get by for now.
