User registration and email confirmation

    Hello,

    due to many spam user registration, we decided to enable email confirmation for user registration. I’ve created custom confirmation landing page and everything is actually working, there is just one minor thing, which I can’t get solved. When a potential user register, instead of a success message he receives validation error for username and email:

    This username is already reserved to be used soon.
    Please try a different one!

    This email is already reserved to be used soon.
    Please try a different one!

    However, registration is actually completed succesfully and user can confirm his/her registration.

    Any idea, how can we get this solved? Any possible workaround?

    Hello @mattox3,

    Are you using the latest version of Profile Builder ? If not, please update.

    The issue is coming from the fact that the form is submitted twice. We had some troubles with YoastSEO causing this on our pages but this shouldn’t be the case anymore.

    It actually solved my problem – can’t believe it was that simple and that I did not try it myself.
