User profile page not working

  • I’m setting up an intranet using your plugin as I don’t need users within the network to be verified, but I have run into an issue. When the user logs in, they are taken to [domain]/wordpress/index.php/user/[username]/ but they get a page not found error. The same error is encountered when clicking on the profile link from the account page. I’m guessing that it’s just a syntax error somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it. What am I missing?

    I’m still getting a page not found. Have I gotten the syntax right?

    Are you using a solution in your computer like WAMP?? I am not sure what I said would work in a local server environment like yours.

    So, assuming your site was online, I was expecting to see ‘.com’ at the end of your domain name…

    Yeah, it’s a local intranet. The server has handled a bunch of other web based scripts with no issues, so I’m pretty sure the server should be fine. I can grab info from that if it would help.

    BTW – thanks for sticking with me on this!

    Honestly, I don’t think you can run WordPress that way. I certainly never had. All my sites are public and online on the WWW, not in some private network, inside of a computer or offline.

    I confirm that you have permalinks issues, though. Read this, it might help you fix that:

    I had a poke around my web server config, and found the following:
