user profile attributes

Hi – I want to add some attributes to users that use my site – such as children, dogs, etc. I was going to use a registration form. I want to do this so that they do not have to add the information for every event booking.

I can create a profile for them and add the attributes. Is there a way to then add these attributes to the booking form – or should the users create user attributes in the events plugin that could be saved for the next booking.
