User photo broken, someone help!

  • I am trying to update a photo for a user on a wordpress site but whenever I do this the preview shows a broken image icon, regardless of what image is used. I need to get this fixed soon so any help is much appreciated.

  • Is the uploaded image accessible/visible in the media library?
    This sounds like a server permissions problem.

    Yes, I uploaded the image to the media library and it is visible there. I even used other images that were in the media library to no avail. I did go to the plug ins support forum and found another person posted with the exact same problem. It seems like it could be an issue between the plugin and WP 4.0.
